Extent: Scrolling toy panorama measuring approx. 3-1/4 x 90 in., featuring 32 color images each with printed captions. Birmingham: Joseph Walker, c. 1890.Panorama attached to two wooden spindles, these operated by a pulley system with a crank handle. Housed in the original cardboard box (measuring 7 x 6-1/2 x 3-1/2 in) styled as a theatre with a chromolithograph laid down on the front, at rear a candle-holder for lighting.
