Collection (1820s-1930s) consists mainly of photographic reproductions of sheet music covers, as well as some reproductions of musical arrangements, broadsides and music book title pages, of musical works either composed by African Americans, such as James Reese Europe, "Blind Tom" Bethune, and Eubie Blake, or composed for minstrel and vaudeville shows.
