One drawing of a production of Burlesque at the Olympic Theatre on 14th Street in New York City was drawn for The New Yorker, published to acompany an article by Gilbert W. Gabriel on August 22, 1925. The other drawing in ink titled WGBS is a column of caricatures of Gene Buck, Chas. Harris, Maclyn Arbuckle, Eddie Cantor, the Sousa Band and Vaughn de Leath drawn for newpaper publication.
Biographical/historical: Reginald Marsh, artist, sketched vaudeville and burlesque performers for a regular New York Daily News feature beginning in 1922 and was one of the first cartoonists at The New Yorker Magazine (1925-).
