Description
Promotional poster (circa 1890s) for the the stage burlesque Mazeppa, or, The wild horse of Tartary, billed as Leavitt and Lederer's Grand Romantic Spectacular Drama / The Dashing Vernona Jarbeau and her Arabian thoroughbred "Lightning". This production was dramatized from Lord Byron's poem by H. M. Milner and adapted to the stage under the direction of Mr. Ducrow.
