Content: Typed note on original container: "JOHN WATTS ; MAS (1976) ; (Choreographed and danced by Satoru Shimazaki for his work, Geki-Sei.) ; Created especially for Mr. Shimazaki, MAS is based on two sections from the ancient Japanese court music known as "Gagaku" (which was first performed in 1074), and was completely realized on the ARP 2500-2600 Synthesizers. ; 7.5 IPS, half track stereo".
