Biographical/historical: A commercial photographic studio founded by Luther White in New York City in the 1890s, White Studio was first known for its portraiture before venturing into theatrical photography beginning in 1904.
Content: Performance photographs of Vera Violetta, a musical entertainment in two scenes, music by Edmund Eysler, book and lyrics by Leonard Liebling and Howard Attridge from the German of Leo Stein, produced at the Winter Garden Theatre, New York, N.Y., Nov. 20, 1911.
