Funding: Digitization was made possible through a collaboration with The Feminist Institute and with the generous support of New York City Council Member Keith Powers.
Content: This is a bound (with string at the spine) album with a textured brown leather cover and construction paper pages. Pages of onion paper protect the photographs on each page. The photographs are attached to the construction paper pages. Interspersed between the pages are loose, individual photos encased in Mylar sleeves and negatives encased in envelopes. Inserted between the front cover and the first page is a German-language newspaper article from 1936.
