Content: Short prefaces for each section. The prefaces of three sections are in Arabic (1b, 83b, 136b ) and the prefaces of two other sections are in Persian (42b-43a, 179a).
Content: Marginal notes in different hands in Arabic and Persian.
Content: Physical description : Cream paper, 230 folios, 25 lines, 4 columns. Text in black Nastaʻlīq script., headings in red. Gold, pale green, red and blue rulings. Five ʻunvāns (1b, 42b, 83b, 136b and 179a): the first and last are headpieces similar to those found in contemporary manuscripts produced in Shīrāz. 9 miniatures : 41b (25 x 183 mm), 85a (171 x 180 mm), 95a (230 x 172 mm), 96a (168 x 160 mm), 113a (192 x 173), 155a (181 x 172 cm), 163a (190 x 193 mm), 201a (178 x 162), 206a (195 x 193 mm). There are seveal [Qajar?] ownership seals on fols. 1a and 229a.
