Content: Written on border: "May 2, 1903." Printed on border: "The Bersaglieri are one of the best-known regiments in Europe. They are remarkable for their marching. Going at what appears to be a sort of trot, they cover four and a half miles an hour. The uniform of the regiment is very picturesque, and when the men turn out to exercise, as they usually do in the Caracciolo Road near the sea, there are always groups of admiring tourists ready with cameras in the hope of carrying away souvenirs of thi[s] fine corps."
