Content: 110 German, Austrian and French hand-colored bromide and appliqué novelty postcards, various sizes, most ca. 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches, featuring women's glamour photos almost all embellished with human hair, some with addition of ribbons and fabric illustrating hairstyles and millinery designs, a few embossed, bas-relief, or embroidered, many intended for American export, some for the European market, attributed to well-known publishers such as PFB, Berlin; Schwidernoch, Vienna; Leo of Pradot, Paris; and Oliviery, Nanterre.
