Description
Acknowledges the second volume of his works, which he has not now the leisure to read; he will support Fonvielle's interest with the Marquis de Lauriston, and does not doubt that the latter will be impressed with his claim on the favor of His Majesty; hopes that the note in which Fonvielle describes his sacrifices for the royal cause may be laid before the King.
