Description
Having considered Gen. Lincoln's requisition whether it is possible for the shipping to lie in such a manner as to command the bar of Charleston harbor and leave their station if necessary, and having sounded and buoyed the entrance and made necessary observations, they assert that it is impractiable, and give reasons for such an opinion. The signatures of Hoysted Hacker, John P. Rathburn, Saml. Tucker, Thoms. Simpson, Hezh. Welch, Elijah Hall, Pat. Fletcher, Jona. Donnison, John Massuere, and -- Webster are affixed in the same hand. Contemporary copy. Endorsed.
