Funding: Digitized through a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: Exploring the human endeavor.
Content: Begins, "I inscribe with your name, from a distant Country, and after an absence whose months have seemed years, this the latest of my literary efforts." Written on the same manuscript are a holograph draft stanza of The Mask of Anarchy (PBS 0103b), begins, "A spirit / A red mist like the steam of gore . . . ."; and a holograph draft fragment from Prometheus Unbound (PBS 0103c), begins, "A lamp which / a diamond which shines / In the darkness of mines . . . ." .
