Description
Luis Santeiro, longtime screenwriter and playwright, discusses his life and career with Ramón Espejo and Eva Cristina Vásquez. Originally from Cuba, Santeiro came to the United States as a boy. As a young man, he wrote for various local television series, and eventually for Sesame Street. As a playwright, he has had his works produced by a number of theater companies around the country, including the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami, and INTAR (a.k.a. the Hispanic American Arts Center) in New York City.
