Description
Choreographer Sergio Trujillo discusses his life and work with Ramón Espejo and Annette Saddik. He begins with his boyhood in Colombia, and his adolescence in Canada, after his family emigrated to Toronto in the mid-1970s. Putting aside his studies in medicine, Trujillo became a dancer in his late teens. He danced in Broadway shows, on TV, and in film. He pays tribute to his mentors, in particular Debbie Allen. He also discusses his mid-career switch from dancing to choreography, and some of his upcoming projects.
